Freshmen Scholarships

Incoming first year students are automatically considered for a number of institutional scholarships. These awards do not have to be repaid and are based on a variety of factors. CSU's institutional scholarships for Ohio freshmen typically range up to $32,000 and non-resident freshmen may receive up to $40,000.

NOTE: General scholarship awards are competitive and subject to availability of funds, which may be depleted earlier than the deadline. To ensure consideration, submit your application for admission and all supporting materials as early as possible. Final deadline for receipt of all application materials for possible scholarship consideration is 3/1 for freshmen. In some cases, where indicated, individual scholarships will require a separate application and have earlier deadlines.
