Honors Program (Incoming Freshmen)

Amount: Generous scholarships renewable for up to eight semesters.

Number of Scholarships: Admission to Honors is highly competitive and involves a holistic review of each applicant.

Renewable: Yes, for a maximum of eight semesters and students must maintain at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

Incoming freshmen must attend CSU beginning the summer or fall following their high school graduation and must attend CSU full time.

Incoming freshmen applicants should apply midway through their senior year of high school.  Deadline for submission of the Honors Program application for incoming freshmen are: November 15th, January 15th, and March 15th.  Please visit the Mandel Honors College website for more information and to apply.

Once you have been admitted to Cleveland State, you should receive an individual link to the Honors application in your application portal.
