Types of Financial Aid

Most types of financial aid require you to Complete the FAFSA to be considered, including Federal and State grants and loans.  Click on each type to learn more:


Funds that do not have to be repaid and are based on financial need.


Funds that are borrowed and must be repaid along with interest. 


Funds that do not have to be repaid and are based on many factors, including academic merit and/or financial need.

Federal Work-Study

A federal financial aid program designed to help students meet educational expenses through student employment. The FWS award is based on financial need.


Benefits earned through service in the Armed Forces. Includes the GI Bill® and Ohio National Guard Scholarship.
