RN to BSN Online curriculum

Thank you for your interest in the RN to BSN Online Program at Cleveland State University's School of Nursing. The program consists of online coursework with a completion time of one year (three consecutive semesters) while you work full-time as a registered nurse. Clinical sessions for the NUR 460 capstone course are done with a preceptor on a schedule you and your preceptor negotiate. This course will concentrate on healthcare planning and evaluation, rather than individual care delivery as you experienced in your initial training.

The RN to BSN Online Program begins in the Fall Semester of every year. Please be sure to submit your completed application beginning March 1st and no later than July 1st of the year you wish to begin the program.
