Computer Literacy

Course Description

This course introduces student to use of personal computer, computer concepts, and information systems. Students will explore ways in which computers have impacted the delivery of health care. Students will learn to use computers for word processing, conducting library searches, and use the World Wide Web to locate health-care information to improve nursing practice.

Prerequisite: Students must be admitted to the Nursing Program or obtain department permission.
