Dr. Mitchell teaches in the undergraduate and graduate program in the School of Nursing at Cleveland State University in the areas of health policy, community health, professional role development, curriculum design and development, and epidemiology and demography. She has also been appointed to the faculty for the College of Graduate Studies at Cleveland State University.  Dr. Mitchell is a certified Peer Reviewer with Quality Matters and currently has seven courses that have been Quality Matters Certified. Dr. Mitchell has taught and designed online courses for the last six years and currently has the most QM certified courses at CSU with six courses having met QM expectations.
