Ricky Volante Biography

Ricky Volante, J.D. is the Director of Consulting Services at Core 5 Sports Management. Over the last five years, Ricky has gained experiences in event management and operation, facility management, branding and marketing, market analysis and research, strategic planning, legal research and contract drafting. Additionally, Ricky has a special interest in the film and television industries given his experiences with the Greater Cleveland Film Commission and entertainment executives in California. 

Ricky focuses largely on national and international projects and currently works with Sealand Birk of Sealand Natural Resources, Denmark-based health food and beverage company, and Sports’N MORE, a German-based sports marketing firm. As Director of Consulting Services, Ricky works with each consulting client, providing his relentless drive and tenacity to accomplish each of their established goals, with a focus on business development, business operations, company management and contract/endorsement services. Additionally, Ricky serves as a consultant to sports law professor and expert Peter Carfagna.
  Ricky currently assists with courses and programs at the following universities: Case Western Reserve University School of Law (Representing the Professional Athlete MOOC on Coursera), the Great Lakes Sports and Entertainment Law Academy, Harvard Law School, Harvard Extension School, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Ave Maria School of Law and University of Miami School of Law.   Ricky graduated summa cum laude from Lake Erie College with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management, and received the Academic Excellence Award for the School of Business. Ricky obtained his Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Ricky has held positions at SPIRE Institute, an Olympic training site, and the Mid-American Conference.
