Creating Accessible Content in Blackboard Learn

Creating accessible content leads to usability improvements that benefit everyone. In this face-to-face workshop, you'll learn about ways you can improve the accessibility of your content in Word and Blackboard Learn. We'll cover best practices in choosing fonts, formatting text including the use of Word Styles, choosing colors that meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines for contrast, and establishing proper heading structure and descriptive hyperlink text to aid in navigation. We'll explore methods to add alternative text to images, and create simple tables with column and row headers. Please bring earbuds or a headset if you have one.
