Captioning and Transcribing Videos

Captioning and transcribing videos benefit a great number of people. In this workshop, you will get an overview of how to close caption and transcribe videos. You will learn the different ways closed captions can be created for videos, and the different files that are used for closed captioning. We will cover how to use YouTube to close caption a video and how to download the files needed to place them on a CSU media server, such as Tegrity. We’ll also look at how to close caption a copyrighted video that is not owned by you or CSU.
