Due to health and safety concerns, the Center for International Services and Programs (CISP) is offering remote services. All CISP staff continues to be available to support you via phone, email, and ZOOM video-conferencing.

  • The phone line (216-687-3910) is answered from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm weekdays; please leave a voicemail afterhours. 
  • The Center's Virtual Front Desk on Zoom is staffed 10:00 am - 3:00 pm weekdays. Click here to visit us.
  • You may also schedule a virtual advising appointment. Once confirmed, you will be emailed a ZOOM meeting link.
  • F-1 Drop-In Advising is available virtually via Zoom from 1:00pm- 3:00pm Monday-Friday 

And, please remember that all students, faculty and staff, as well as visitors, coming to campus must sign one-time social contract, take and pass a health self-assessment everyday before they come on campus. Welcome to Cleveland State University! 

CISP provides services to international students and scholars through International OrientationInternational Student Services, as well as to domestic and international students through Education Abroad and  National Student Exchange. The Center also provides support and guidance to faculty and staff in their CSU-related international endeavors. The Center is also the administrative home of the University's Fulbright Program and a resource for all CSU international institutional agreements and partnerships.     

International students have many opportunities for both academic and personal growth at Cleveland State University. Whether looking for an undergraduate or graduate degree, a certificate, or ESL course, CSU offers a wide range of resources and opportunities, as well as offering an ideal environment to succeed and achieve academic goals.

International students are involved in campus life through a variety of student organizations and university programs that include cultural activities, sports, the arts, and social events. The staff of the Center for International Services and Programs is especially qualified to meet the varied needs of all international students and scholars.

International programs are administered via cross-campus collaboration and welcome all students

Drop-In Advising is available between 1 pm - 3pm weekdays
(During summer 2020, Education Away Advising is available via appointment only)

The IELP - English as a Second Language Program is housed in Mather Mansion Room 209.
