Japanese Tenji Braille Primer

The following documents were developed to provide a guide for a student to learn Tenji. Tenji is the Japanese system of Braille. The student using this guide could read American English Braille. It was designed so that it could be printed onto swell paper so the student could feel the construct of the Hiragana and Katakana character, the Japanese Tenji cell and the roman spelling of the character in Braille. It also includes the roman spelling of the character to enable the dual purpose of using it as a primer for sighted people. Next to each Tenji character is a full 6 dot cell so that the person reading the dots can see or feel where the dots in the Tenji are aligned. The Braille characters in these documents were created using the Duxbury Braille TrueType Fonts.
