    Discover the various ways you can stay healthy while at CSU. This event brings together campus constituents that support, encourage, and inspire not only healthy choices but individuality.  Find commonality as well as people/departments/organizations who are your campus support networks. 

    Join us for food, music, hands on experiences, demonstrations and meet you campus support networks.

  • 18 & 20 – Sexual Health Awareness Week
    Sept 18 , SC Bridge, 11:30am-12:30pm
    Sept 20, MC Atrium, 11:30am-12:30pm

    Sexual Health is my responsibility! Look for tables across campus that provide information on being responsible for your sexual health. STD information and testing sites will be available along with free condoms and lube and healthy relationship information.
  • 19 - International Student Peer Education Applications Due! 
    This group seeks to empower international students by providing information and support about responsible decision making and positive role-modeling to help improve the CSU international student experience as part of the campus community.  Specifically, student leaders will address health and safety concerns in 2 ways: 1) through individual interactions and 2) through facilitating large group training sessions. All members are trained through CSU Health and Wellness with the Bacchus Network of NASPA training program, Cleveland Rape Crisis Center and the Center for International Student Services and Programs.

  • 20- Lunch and Learn - Empowered Bystander Training

    Learn how to intervene in uncomfortable and difficult situations that may include alcohol, anxiety, homesickness, sexual misconduct, etc. T-shirts to participants and light lunch.

  • 28 - Peer Education Applications Due! 
    Become a Nationally Certified Peer Educator! Learn skills you can use today and tomorrow when helping others! Be a part of the movement to create healthy and safe campuses!

    Connect with community agencies for volunteer opportunities and involvement in the Cleveland community. Use “speed networking” to connect quickly and receive “business cards” to hand to interested agencies. Bring your CSU ID for other event “perks”.

    Guest Speaker Vince Caraffi from the Cuyahoga County Board of Health will share insights and information on the myths, stigmas and facts associated with substance abuse disorders.
