Orientation for Transfer Students

Attend a Cleveland State Transfer Orientation program to learn about Cleveland State and its services, and to get your CSU career started in the right direction! All Transfer Orientation programs are optional, but highly recommended. Choose the Orientation program (or programs) that's right for you, and then sign up.

At Cleveland State University we continue to closely monitor the spread and impact of the COVID-19 virus. While there is optimism that Ohio’s “stay-at-home” order may be lifted by May, we know that it will take a while for things to feel “normal” again. So, all orientation dates in May and June will move to an online format. You’ll still receive a Viking welcome, an opportunity to connect with current CSU students, faculty and staff, and advice on registering for classes, all from the comfort of your own home.

Transfer Online Orientation

Online Transfer Orientation provides information to help ease your transition to CSU and prepare you for academic success. Please note that you will need to complete some items on your own (i.e meeting with your advisor and getting your Viking ID card). After registering for the Transfer Orientation Online program, you will be added to the course in your Blackboard portal.

Please sign up for our online orientation in CampusNet through the Applicant tab at the top of the screen. The online programs will take you step by step though the process of becoming a CSU student.
