International Student Scholarships

Undergraduate Scholarships

Undergraduate students are encouraged to use our comprehensive scholarship page to see which scholarships may be available based on your academic college. A list of non-CSU scholarship resources is also available below for undergraduate students to utilize.

Graduate Scholarships

Graduate scholarships may be available based on your academic program. Contact your academic department for scholarship availability and eligibility criteria.

Graduate Assistantships

Assistantships are limited and highly competitive. Graduate assistants may receive compensation in the form of a tuition scholarship and/or living stipend.

  • Teaching assistants aid faculty members by assembling classroom materials, leading discussion groups, supervising laboratory sessions, evaluating student performance and carrying out other related instructional activities.
  • Research assistants are assigned to staff and faculty working in a variety of areas in order to extend research experience and professional development.
  • Graduate assistants (general support) may help any University department with supportive tasks, unrelated to teaching and research, for professional development and field experience.

Please check with your academic department directly for more information about applying for an assistantship.

These documents are required in order to issue a Certificate of Eligibility (the SEVIS Form I-20 for F1 student status) for a visa application.
