Curriculum Approvals and Processes

Curriculum Approvals and Processes

Directions: Curriculum changes that require review and approval, including changes to current courses and programs and/or introduction of new courses or programs, must be submitted in Curriculog.

Curriculog is CSU's online curriculum management system. This self-contained platform allows the curriculum management process to take place entirely online, including working on proposals, communication, and decisions. Although the Office of the University Registrar oversees Curriculog, creating curricular proposals and the review of curriculum is a function of faculty and the academic units.

FOR ALL CURRICULAR CHANGES, be sure to consider if your proposed change affects another department or departments. An impact report is required of all course edits. Curriculum committees require documentation that the affected department knows about and approves of the change.

Crucial Considerations!
