Promotion & Tenure

Successful faculty are the cornerstone of a university. Cleveland State University values our faculty. It is important that faculty members are prepared for the rigorous review process during their career as a faculty member. The review processes are designed to ensure that faculty undegoing the process feel it is transparent, object, and fair. The processes are guided by the AAUP collective bargaining agreemement (CBA) and department/school/college bylaws and criteria. The memorandum on promotion and tenure is updated annually each spring.
