Partnering for Military Student Success

At Cleveland State University, we recognize that supporting military-connected students requires collaboration beyond campus. That’s why we are committed to working with key partners—including PreK-12 Purple Star Schools, the Ohio Department of Veterans Services, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Ohio Department of Higher Education, the Ohio National Guard, and other community-based organizations—who share in our mission to serve those who have served.

Through these partnerships, we aim to strengthen the policies, programs, and resources that directly impact military-connected students. As part of this effort, CSU will continue to explore opportunities to engage with local Purple Star Schools to share resources and, where possible, participate in mentorship and outreach programs that align with school district guidelines.

Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected network of support—one that helps military students thrive from classroom to career.
