Fenn Tower

Historic Fenn Tower has been fully remodeled into a residence complex. If these walls could talk, they would tell the story of Cleveland continually reimagining and reinventing itself. Named for Sereno Peck Fenn, who founded Fenn College (the predecessor to Cleveland State) and was one of the founders of Sherwin-Williams, Fenn Tower stands at 22 stories tall boasting newly renovated, modern double occupancy residences and the opportunity for you to write your story and have our walls talking for years to come.

The First-Year Residential Experience 

The First-Year Residential Experience at Cleveland State University is a year-long, residentially-based program designed to help students learn valuable information about college life, the University and to establish a foundation for success both in and outside the classroom. 

Students live in select residence halls with their first-year classmates.  Objectives of this first-year program include facilitating the transition to campus life, providing opportunities to make connections with peers, promoting healthy living by helping develop physical and emotional wellness skills and fostering a sense of community and belonging.  

Cleveland State will offer the first-year program to all students in Fenn Tower and Buildings 1 and 2 of Euclid Commons.
