Office of Research Grant Writing Workshops

The Office of Research hosted two workshops in early 2026: one for the Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) award that is managed by the NSF, and one to learn more about the R15 award from the NIH. The CAREER Program is a Foundation-wide activity that offers the NSF's most prestigious awards in support of early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education. R15 grants support small-scale research projects that engage students, and it is expected that students are part of the research team.

You can watch a recording of the CSU workshops below. Recent awardees will serve as mentors. If you are interested in applying to either program, please reach out to Roman Kondratov, Associate VP for Research, and he will help connect you to the mentors.
