AI & Research Forum: Foundations for Responsible Use

University Research Council and the Office of Research invites you to attend the first session in a new campus series on Artificial Intelligence and Research:

AI & Research Forum: Foundations for Responsible Use
Date: Monday, December 1, 2025
Time: 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Location: Parker Hannifin Hall (First Floor Conference Room)

As generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot become increasingly common in research, questions are emerging about what is ethical, secure, and permissible. This inaugural forum will bring together CSU experts in research integrity, IRB oversight, legal affairs, and information security to clarify boundaries and share guidance for using AI responsibly in research design, analysis, and dissemination.

Panelists will include Benjamin Ward, John Jeziorowski, Brittany Barron, and Anthony Mansoor. The conversation will be moderated by members of the University Research Council.

The event is open to all CSU faculty and graduate students engaged in research. Please fill out the form below by Monday, November 24, 2025 if you plan on attending.
