Meet CSU Alum - Yulu Li, Master of Public Administration '14
Levin College of Urban Affairs
Yulu Li arrived at Cleveland State University from Shanghai, China in 2012 to pursue a master’s degree in the Levin College of Urban Affairs where she excelled in her academics. With no experience or previous knowledge of real estate sector, Li credits her real estate courses and an internship in global real estate for her success. Her award-winning internship project involved real estate marketing related to the Opportunity Corridor Project, a community corridor that connects downtown Cleveland to University Circle. That internship project led to full-time employment upon graduation. Li earned a Masters of Public Administration from CSU’s Levin College of Urban Affairs in December 2014. Upon graduation, Li joined Hanna Commercial Real Estate as a Database Manager and currently serves as Assistant Vice President. She manages international real estate transactions for corporate clients, including property leasing, sales, and build-to-suit projects in China, Japan, UK, Italy, Canada and various other countries. This past summer, Li received the “Twenty in Their 20s” and “Notable Women in Real Estate” awards by Crain’s Cleveland Business. The 2018 “Twenty in Their 20s” group “represents the future of business leadership in Northeast Ohio." According to Crains, “they haven’t made their first million yet, but the impacts they’ve had on their workplaces and the broader community are undeniable.” Photo credit: Tim Harrison for Crain's Cleveland Business
