MetroLab Network

MetroLab Network Logo

Launched by 40 mayors and universities as part of the White House Smart Cities initiative in 2015, MetroLab Network is an international peer network of academics and policymakers focused on civic research and innovation.  The Network’s commitment to building partnerships and multidisciplinary research aligns very closely with the goals of the CSU T.E.C.H. Hub, a member since 2017.  By supporting MetroLab as a member, CSU T.E.C.H. Hub affiliates gain access to invite-only programming and thought leadership contributions.

MetroLab’s mission is focused on the belief that when local governments and universities work together, innovation can thrive in a catalytic and inclusive manner. At its core, MetroLab is a convener and thought leader, living at the intersection of research and implementation. MetroLab membership is available to cities, counties, universities, and colleges, that work together to learn best practices emerging from local government-academia partnerships, connect with innovators, and participate in MetroLab programming.
