Community+Technology Hub
CSU Tech Hub faculty members spearhead research and engagement activities focused on the "Community+Technology Hub" of the IoT Collaborative.
Focused on building research, education, and engagement in Public Interest Technology. The primary goal of the Community+Technology hub is to drive human-centered approaches to technology development and deployment keeping the public interest paramount. Near term goals include:
- Secure federal research and philanthropic funding to deploy Smart and Sensible Cities Technologies.
- Develop Public Interest Technology curriculum to prepare future leaders of the public and nonprofit sectors to lead in a technology-infused world.
- Raise awareness of issues in Public Interest Technology.
In addition to leading on the "Community+Technology Hub", the Center's members will partner with Case Western Reserve University on research proposals and curriculum development in the "Industry+Technology Hub".
