Anonymous Reporting

If you are in an emergency situation that requires medical, psychological or police services, call 9-1-1. This reporting system is not a platform to be used for emergencies.

CSU now offers expanded anonymous reporting for any student, employee or student organization misconduct. You can confidentially and anonymously report through either text, including photos or videos, email or WhatsApp. CSU will not know your name, phone number or email address unless you choose to share it with us in the report. Anonymous reports may also be filed via telephone at 216-687-0538.

What to Include in an Anonymous Report:

  • What happened
  • When the incident happened or if it is ongoing
  • Where the incident occurred
  • Who was/is involved in the incident

Other non-anonymous reporting options exist at the University and can be found here.

This is not an emergency reporting system. Anonymous reporting is monitored Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Messages sent after hours, on weekends or on University holidays will be reviewed the following business day. If there is an on-campus emergency, please contact CSU PD at 216-687-2020; if it’s an off-campus emergency, please dial 9-1-1.

CSU takes appropriate action on every report. Providing details about your concerns helps the team responsible conduct a thorough review. Please be aware that in most cases, findings and any subsequent action must remain confidential and won’t be shared with the reporting party.
