Students admitted into Cleveland State University are eligible to earn college and high school credit at the same time. These students can engage with the CSU community, interact with full-time college students and university faculty, and benefit from the rigor and variety of college courses offered. College-bound students can jumpstart their college careers and reduce the cost and length of time needed to earn a bachelor's degree.
Summer Transition Enrichment Program (STEP)
STEP is a six-week Summer Transition Enrichment Program for any new CSU student who has placed into Math 87 or English 99, or Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) students entering who have placed into college-ready courses as determined by ACT/SAT or placement exams.
