Resources for Transfer Applicants

CSU is dedicated to helping you get the most out of the credits that you have earned at other colleges and universities. Your transfer credits will be evaluated upon your admission to CSU. You will receive an official copy of your transfer evaluation by mail from the Office of the University Registrar.

CSU grants military credit, as well as external test credit for qualifying scores earned in the Advanced Placement (AP) and College Level Examination Program (CLEP) examinations (both offered by the College Board). Students seeking credit for AP or CLEP examinations must have their official score report sent directly from the College Board to the Office of the University Registrar. Refer to the most frequently asked questions about transferring to CSU.

Transfer Center

CSU’s Transfer Center provides transfer students with the resources they need for a smooth transition to CSU. They can provide an unofficial transfer credit evaluation prior to admission, available by appointment. Transfer students who have already been admitted to CSU should schedule an appointment with their respective academic advising office.
