College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences

Our 26 undergraduate majors and 9 graduate programs are led by distinguished faculty, scholars, scientists, artists and performers. Small classroom settings, community-based internships, study abroad programs, numerous scholarship opportunities, and more than 20 liberal arts and social science student organizations enrich the experience as students explore their passions, interests and talents while developing essential skills in leadership, analysis, communication, problem-solving and creativity. CSU’s Arts Campus, located in the heart of Playhouse Square — America’s second-largest performing arts district — offers arts-oriented students unique opportunities for hands-on learning experiences alongside working professionals. Our new School of Film & Media Arts will open its 36,000-square-foot facility on the top floor of ideastream’s Idea Center in Fall 2018.
