Graduate Student Appreciation Week
2024 Schedule of Events

In 1993, Graduate & Professional Student Appreciation Week (GPSAW) was launched nationally. GPSAW celebrates the accomplishments of our graduate & professional students and their contribution to the CSU community.

The College of Graduate Studies and the Graduate & Professional Student Association (GPSA) will be hosting events for GPSAW.

If your office or department is hosting an event for GPSAW you can complete this brief form and we can help publicize your programming.

Celebrate your academic journey with GPSA! We're thrilled to offer the opportunity to win FREE regalia for those graduating in Spring 2024. Free Coffee Giveaway
Join events sponsored by the Graduate & Professional Student Association and the College of Graduate Studies and receive cards for free coffee at Cafe Ah-Roma. These will be available on a first come, first served basis until they run out.


Solar Eclipse Viewing with GPSA
3-3:15pm at the Michael Schwartz Library Entrance

We invite you to join the GPSA and fellow graduate students for a viewing of the solar eclipse, which won't occur in the U.S again for another 20 years. GPSA is providing up to 60 CSU students with eclipse eye-protection glasses at the event and snacks will be available as we watch the eclipse together. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity to see a total solar eclipse.

Dessert Networking Social
2-4pm in 104 Parker Hannifin Hall

Meet other graduate students while enjoying desserts, appetizers, coffee, and tea. Pick up free giveways from the College of Graduate Studies and enter a drawing to win gift cards.

Doughnuts with the Dean 
Dean's Office in the Law Building

Law students are welcome to stop by and enjoy doughnuts with the Dean on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of the appreciation week.


Graduate Student Trivia and Board Games Mixer
12-2pm in 104 Parker Hannifin Hall

Join the College of Graduate Studies for trivia and games with graduate students. Feel free to bring your own games if you wish. Appetizers, dessert, coffee, and tea will be provided.

GPSA's Rolling Thunder: Bowl & Bite
2-4pm and 5-7pm at the Corner Alley (402 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44114)

Bring your squad or fly solo—our lanes fit up to 8 people for maximum fun. Plus, enjoy mouthwatering nachos while you bowl! Free bowling and shoe rental until capacity is reached.
