Internships can be formal, for-credit opportunities for our students that integrate classroom theory with work experience. Internships can also be not-for-credit opportunities for our students wishing to have more than one internship experience. If you have an internship opportunity, please submit your information here.
Co-ops are formal, accredited academic programs that integrate classroom theory with work experience. In the typical co-op experience, students alternate semesters of work and study, beginning the summer after their freshman year in their desired field. The student completes a minimum of two and a maximum of four co-op semesters. Degrees are typically completed in five years with the equivalent of at least one year of meaningful, real-world, on-the-job experience. Co-op experiences are limited. Host a Recruiting Event or Information Session - here at the College of Business:
Many local employers request to speak with Monte Ahuja College of Business majors based on their needs. This format provides companies with a platform to present their company, accept resumes, speak with students and drive applications for internships or full-time career opportunities. Information sessions can be offered at multiple times throughout the year and typically last one to two hours. Please submit your information here.
Attend the Business Internship and Co-op Expo:
In 2014, the Monte Ahuja College of Business office of Undergraduate Programs and Student Services hosted the first on-campus Business Internship and Co-op Expo in Northeast Ohio. As a result, over 530 student attendees were able to mix, mingle and exchange information with employers at this FREE event.

An Employer Engagement Session offers employers the opportunity to spend a half to full-day in the College of Business, speaking with students, increasing awareness of your company and developing a footprint on campus.
