The Information Systems Department, housed within the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State is seeking a Graduate Assistant. The Graduate Assistant will be assigned to work with three professors in the Information Systems Department. The position requires that the GA be able to research articles and journals on a wide variety of topics, grade papers, prepare materials and assist as needed for the courses. Graduate Assistants cannot be enrolled in the courses with the instructors that they are assigned to assist.
Other duties will be to assist the department in developing systems to better serve students and faculty. Apply through Hire-A-Vike today to be a Career Peer in the Career Services Office. The Career Peer’s role is to serve as an ambassador between the Career Services office and the Cleveland State University student body.
Career Peers are also enthusiastic advocates and brand managers for Career Services. Under staff supervision, Career Peers will provide excellent customer service to their fellow students, and all Career Services’ constituents, including: providing pre-screenings of resumes and cover letters, helping fellow students and employers navigate Career Services resources, answer questions about upcoming programs and general questions related to the university, and assisting professional staff with workshops and career related events.

Flexible. Preference given to students who can work shifts of at least 3 hours at a time. Office hours are Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM with occasional requests for evening or weekend hours. Up to 20 hours per week. Must be available for weekly team meetings, which happen during Tuesday or Thursday common hour.
