What’s your favorite spot on the CSU campus and why?

My favorite spot on the CSU Campus is Playhouse Square, the second largest performing arts district in the United States. As a graduate of the Cleveland School of the Arts and Ohio University (BFA in Dance) I have a deep appreciation for the performing arts and the opportunities it has provided throughout my career. I am grateful and blessed to be connected to world class arts and entertainment right in the heart of downtown Cleveland.

If you had your own Magnus costume, where would you wear it?

If I had my own Magnus costume, I would wear it to the athletic games to cheer on my Vikes to a victory!!

What advice do you have for students who are choosing a college?

When choosing a college, consider key factors beyond prestige and rankings. Take time to think about the location, size, campus culture and available academic programs to ensure a good match. Research overall cost, financial aid and scholarships to make an informed financial decision. Visit as many campuses as you can and talk with current students, staff and professors. Explore internships and career opportunities linked to the college before accepting. Be sure to choose a college that aligns with your goals, values and growth. Go where you will feel supported and inspired to succeed.

What’s your favorite CSU fun fact?

Cleveland State University has a unique partnership with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, allowing students to take music and entertainment related courses, conduct research and gain hands on experience in the industry!
