Welcome to Cleveland State University! I’m thrilled you’re considering CSU. Our Viking community is friendly, welcoming, and possibly the perfect fit for you. CSU’s location in downtown Cleveland makes for an electric student experience, allowing you to take advantage of both personal and professional opportunities. Imagine attending class in the morning, walking to your internship in the afternoon, and taking in a show at Playhouse Square in the evening – all in one neighborhood. I’m happy to learn more about your college search journey and provide advice.
What’s your favorite spot on the CSU campus and why?
There is a small garden between the College of Law and Central Garage. It’s so quiet and peaceful!
If you had your own Magnus costume, where would you wear it?
I would proudly wear it anywhere and everywhere!
What advice do you have for students who are choosing a college?
Visit as many college campuses as you can! That’s the best way to learn if you vibe with a school. Be sure to meet a professor or two, tour the academic building your major is housed in, and chat with financial aid. I always counsel students if they can answer “YES!” to the following three questions, that college might be the perfect fit for them:
- Does the school match your vibe?
- Do you like the people you’ve met there?
- Is the school affordable for you?
What’s your favorite CSU fun fact?
Cleveland State was founded in 1964, making it a very young school! CSU has a fresh, dynamic vibe that makes for an exciting experience on campus.
