Welcome to Cleveland State University! My name is Robert Harris, and I am a Senior Admissions Counselor in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. I am so excited to see that you are interested in CSU and becoming a Viking! Cleveland State University is an urban, vibrant campus that provides engaged learning, real-world experiences, and endless opportunities while being in the heart of downtown Cleveland. While being in the heart of downtown Cleveland, there are so many things to do, such as going to Playhouse Square, the West Side Market, cheering on the Cavaliers, Guardians, and Browns, and exploring our Metroparks! What is your favorite spot on the CSU campus and why?

My favorite spot on the CSU campus is the Recreation Center. There are sports clubs and leagues that you could be a part of, and there’s different classes that you could join! It is also a great place for students to start their day or decompress after a long day whether it’s strength training, cardio, boxing, and other forms of exercise.

If you had your own Magnus outfit, where would you wear it?

I would absolutely wear my own Magnus outfit at every event on campus!

What advice do you have for students who are choosing a college?

You have to find a college that is best fit for you through all aspects. Finding a college that you can call “home” is important; being at place where you see yourself being successful is what matters the most. Take your time, and see what college is the best option for you.

What's your favorite CSU fun fact?

There are 200+ student clubs and organizations to choose from; whether it’s personal interests or academic interests. As a student, you can also create your own club and organization!
