Benefits at CSU

Most benefits are available for enrollment on your first full day of employment. Once you have selected coverage and provided the required documentation for your dependents (if applicable), the election is processed with the insurance provider and medical, dental and vision coverage is effective retroactive to your benefits eligible hire date.

Faculty/Staff Benefits Eligibility:

The following classification of employees are eligible to participate in the University’s employee benefit plans and programs:

  • Full-time and part-time (scheduled to work 30-39 hours per week) faculty and staff with an appointment of six (6) months or longer
  • Part-time administrative faculty and staff with an appointment of six (6) months or longer and scheduled to work 20-29 hours per week
