Viking Ready FAQ

Successful completion of the Viking Ready program is needed to be provisionally admitted for the Fall 2026 semester.
What does successful completion of Viking Ready look like?
o Students are required to attend all 6 weeks of courses during the duration of the program and complete both math and English courses with a 2.0 or better to be provisionally admitted for Fall 2026.
When will I register for Fall 2026 coursework?
o Viking Ready students will attend New Student Orientation together on August 6th from 9:00am – 3:00pm. Students will register for Fall 2026 during this orientation program with their academic coach.
Will parking or transportation be covered for the duration of this program?
o Yes! A CSU summer parking permit is available, if needed

When will I find out my schedule for Viking Ready?
o June 7, 2026
What is the cost of Viking Ready?
o The $120 enrollment fee covers the cost of the program.
