Wolstein Center Hosts “Walk MS: Cleveland”

Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center will host “Walk MS: Cleveland” Sunday, April 28.

The mission of Walk MS is to bring “together a community of passionate people for one powerful cause: to end MS forever.”

The walk offers one- and three-mile, fully accessible routes. There is no fee for the walk, however, the organization encourages participants to set fundraising commitments. All money raised will go towards research, programs and services for those impacted by Multiple Sclerosis.

The event begins with registration at 8:30 a.m. The walk starts at 10:00 a.m. in the Cleveland State University Wolstein Center. Online registration closes at 12 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, but in-person registration can still be made the morning of the walk.

“Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.” According to Walk MS, the group has generated more that $1 billion toward their mission of ending MS.
