LGBTQ+ Student Services is proud to announce the first ever recipient of the LGBTQ+ Student Services scholarship: Kiara Smith. Kiara is a first-year student at Cleveland State University and recent graduate of Magnificat High School in Rocky River, Ohio. Majoring in Film & Media Arts, Kiara plans to pursue a career in the film industry and is interested in directing and producing music videos, movies, or tv shows. “Don’t be afraid to be open about who you truly are as a person,” Kiara shared, “Don’t be like everyone else when you can just be yourself.” Congratulations, Kiara!
