Community Resources

The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) Community Center of Greater Cleveland 
Located at 6600 Detroit Avenue, the Center is a resource for obtaining information, referrals, peer support, leadership, and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. The Center’s mission is to work to improve the quality of life for people in the many communities they represent through self-empowerment, visibility, justice, and equality. Center staff are also striving to raise the awareness/consciousness of the rest of society surrounding LGBTQ+ issues.

Programs at the Center may include:

  • Coming Out Group
  • Men's Discussion Group
  • Our Journey (Lesbian Discussion Group)
  • Transfamily Meeting
  • Youth Program (18-24)

The Center also offers meeting space for other organizations and activities.

TransFamily of Cleveland
TransFamily is a transgender support group in the Northeast Ohio area that meets monthly. Family members, friends, parents and spouses are welcome at the meetings. Our meetings are a safe space for all who fit somewhere in the gender spectrum or are searching.

MetroHealth Pride Clinic  
The Pride Clinic at MetroHealth provides services to individuals within LGBTQ+ communities who may not feel comfortable seeking services in a traditional primary care environment. The Pride Clinic offers routine health care, OB/GYN and sexual health care, medical and behavioral health services for LGBTQ+ youth, and services for trans* individuals.

Cleveland Clinic Center for LGBT Care 
Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Care offers healthcare services at the Chagrin Falls Family Health Center and Lakewood Family Health Center. Embedded in a primary care practice, the center provides care for all patients in a safe and welcoming environment. It includes providers who understand the health needs of LGBT patients, and access to specialists with expertise in LGBT care.
