Course Evaluation Student FAQs:

When do evaluations start? When do they close?

For traditional 16-week classes course evaluations start in the 12th week and close on the 14th week of the semester. Courses whose opening and closing dates do not fit the semester schedule (ALT sessions, summer sessions, etc) will have their evaluation window scaled appropriately. Specific start and end dates for each course offered can be found at Course Evaluation Timeline

Select your subject, catalog and section from the drop-down boxes on the left side of the page; the dates will be automatically generated.

How do I access the course evaluation system? I have not received an e-mail invitation to participate in the course evaluations for courses I am enrolled in.

You can access the CSU course evaluation via https://csuohio.bluera.com/csuohio

An invitation email to participate in the course evaluation are sent from course.evaluation@csuohio.edu. Please be sure to check your CSU e-mail.

My user ID and password cannot authenticate to access the course evaluation site. Why is my user ID locked?

Please contact the CSU IS&T help desk

  • Call the Help Desk at (216) 687-5050
  • Visit the IS&T website to submit a ticket.
Am I able to participate in a course(s) evaluation if I am no longer enrolled in the course?

No, students who are NOT enrolled on the course at the time when evaluations are open are NOT eligible to participate in the CSU course evaluation.

ONLY students who actively enrolled in the course during the course evaluation open days can participate in the course evaluation. Students can verify their enrollment status via CSU CampusNet.

Are course evaluation responses anonymous?

Yes, all participant responses through the evaluation instrument are completely anonymous.

Can I request extending the course evaluation close date?

Per the University Faculty Affairs Committee, evaluation end dates will not be extended for individual course sections or students. In the uncommon event that an operational issue negatively affects students’ ability to complete course evaluations during the offered time period, administrative approval would be given to extend the evaluation ending dates for the entire university.

I have accidentally completed the course evaluation for a different instructor/course that I am registered in. Is it possible to edit/remove my responses, once I have submitted my course evaluation?

After the evaluation has been submitted, the data recorded are final. All evaluation responses are anonymous. Please contact your instructor.
