Wellness Practitioner Professional Development

Niel Asher Education partners with Cleveland State University’s Division of Lifelong Learning and Workforce Development to offer professional development opportunities for wellness practitioners, including massage therapists, chiropractors, and other professionals working in complementary health and wellness fields. These noncredit courses are designed to help practitioners expand their knowledge, strengthen applied skills, and continue their professional development through training relevant to their work with clients and patients.

Course offerings include topics such as trigger point therapy, cupping, sports massage, chronic neck and low back pain, fascial release, biomechanics, functional anatomy, and other hands-on and clinical approaches relevant to wellness and rehabilitation practice. Many courses offer continuing education credit for licensed professionals, including massage therapists and chiropractors practicing in Ohio.

Because continuing education requirements and approvals vary by profession and individual course, practitioners should review the accreditation information provided for each course and confirm that it meets the requirements of their licensing board before registering.
