Refund Policy
At Cleveland State University, learners enrolled through the Division of Lifelong Learning and Workforce Development may receive a refund if they cancel their registration before the course start date.
Once a course has begun, refunds are not available. This applies regardless of the reason for withdrawal, including changes in a learner’s schedule or employment, technology issues, nonparticipation, or failure to complete the course.
CSU reserves the right to cancel a course that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements. If CSU cancels a course or changes its scheduled date, learners may request a full refund or transfer their registration to the rescheduled course.
Before enrolling, learners should carefully review the course format and requirements, technology expectations, funding or reimbursement eligibility, and this refund policy.
Approved refunds are issued to the original form of payment. Depending on the financial institution, refunds may take 7–14 business days to appear.
