Refund Policy
At Cleveland State University, students enrolled through the Division of Professional and Workforce Learning may receive a 100 percent refund when the refund request is submitted within five business days of the enrollment date or the published course start date, whichever applies to the course.
After the five-business-day refund period has passed, refunds are not available for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to, changes in a learner’s schedule, changes in employment, technology issues, lack of course participation, failure to complete the course, or a decision not to continue, whether or not the learner provides notice.
If CSU cancels a course or changes the course date, the learner may request a refund or ask to have the registration transferred to the new course date.
Learners are encouraged to review the course format, requirements, technology expectations, funding approval status, and refund policy carefully before enrolling.
Refunds are issued to the original form of payment and may take 7 to 14 days to appear, depending on the learner’s financial institution.
