Technology Enhanced Classrooms

We respond to needs as they arise in our technology enhanced classrooms. Here are contact numbers for the most commonly experienced issues:

The projector doesn't appear to be working properly.

Call our Equipment Loan Center. If you are in the Business Building, please call extension 5246. For all other buildings, please call extension 3846. Their hours of operation are: 

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 10:00pm
• Friday - Saturday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

I'm experiencing difficulty with the equipment in a classroom lectern/podium (e.g., the DVD player won't play my disc, the document camera won't display through the projector.)

Panopto

Panopto is a lecture-capture tool that provides a straight-forward way to record lessons, lectures, presentations, and demonstrations from your computer . One button starts a recording, another button stops it, then Panopto offers an easy to navigate inteface to help you edit and manage content.

Our staff offers individual and group training for those wishing to use Panopto in the classroom. We can cover introductory items such as: an overview of the system, where to find it, install it, how to create recordings and how to make recordings available to students. We can also cover more in-depth topics such as: integrating quizzes into recordings, giving students the ability to create their own Panopto-based recordings and incorporating multiple sources of instructional media in a single recording.
