About This Event:

The 2024 Computer Science Education Summit convenes district leaders, teachers, counselors and curriculum specialists to examine best practices for teacher preparation in order to create a state model for teacher preparation for computer science. The summit’s mission is to support access, equity, educational justice and the need to broaden participation in computing.

District leaders, teachers, counselors, curriculum coordinators and others interested in computing science education are encouraged to attend. The purpose of the summit is to aid in the building, implementation and scaling of computer science programs that promote access, equity and inclusion of traditionally underrepresented populations in CS. Specifically, we will discuss practices that promote inclusion and equitable access to all student populations in the state of Ohio.
