NEO SMART (Northeast Ohio Strategic Management And Results Training) is an exciting, effective way for public managers to build their management skills, develop their teams and improve their communities while saving money and resources.
It’s a series of workshops completed over two years, comprising a useful “tool kit” that public manager will use throughout their careers. Public managers from communities across northern Ohio have saved hundreds of thousands of dollars through techniques learned with NEO SMART, and the program is now available in Wayne County.
The information session will be hosted by Zoë Tyler and Rob Ziol from Cleveland State’s Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs. The Levin College is ranked among the top eight schools of urban affairs in the U.S.; in fact, for the last 10 years, U.S. News and World Report has ranked the Levin College’s Master of Public Administration program second in the nation in the area of city management and urban policy. The College has a long tradition of outstanding scholarship and serves as a vital resource for investigating and applying solutions to issues and challenges that our communities face.
