Cleveland State Explores Healing Across Cultures
at Free Interactive Symposium on April 22

Cleveland State University will present a free Interactive Symposium titled “HEALING ACROSS CULTURES: Nurturing a Healthful Environment” on Wednesday, April 22 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on the CSU campus in Fenn Tower, room 303, located at 1983 East 24th Street (corner of East 24th & Euclid Ave.)

The event is free and open to the public. University sponsors are the Center for Healing Across Cultures, Department of Health Sciences, School of Social Work, Department of Anthropology and Learning Communities.

The symposium will bring together a unique community of regionally, nationally and internationally known scholars, complementary and alternative medicine practitioners, and traditional healers who will share their expertise. Traditional healing artifacts and curios will be displayed, and participants will have an opportunity to stimulate their senses through traditional healing practices and wisdom, traditional music and wellness practices.
