Cleveland State University’s Spring Career Week, February 25-29, will culminate with the popular 29th annual Spring Career Fair on Friday, February 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Physical Education Building, located at 2451 Euclid Ave.
All events are free and open to the public. Last year, 195 employers and nearly 1400 people attended the fair, the largest in Northeast Ohio. To view the list of employers attending the 2008 fair, go to www.csucareerfair.com.
Spring Career Week offers students, alumni, professionals and the general public tips on many topics related to the job search process – advice that is more important than ever in today’s competitive job market. The Career Fair enables job-seekers to meet with prospective employers; learn about job openings, cooperative education, and internship opportunities; and network with professionals in their fields. Attendees should bring their resumes and dress in business attire.
Major industries represented at the Career Fair on February 29 include manufacturing, banking, IT, healthcare, government, social services, retail and communication.
Employers attending include American Greetings, American International Companies, Bank of America, Brulant, Dollar Bank, National City Corporation, Pease & Associates, Hyland Software, Verizon Wireless, Rockwell Automation, Walgreeen’s, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and many others.
