English 105/106

English 105 and 106 are 2-credit, pass/fail companion courses (offered by the Writing Center) that you can take alongside English 101 or English 102. They are designed to give you consistent, personalized writing support throughout the semester. These credits count toward graduation and represent an incredible value.

When you enroll, you'll be paired with one of our graduate assistant tutors, discuss your academic writing goals and needs, and get to work with a combination of individual consultations and workshops tailored to you. You'll meet once a week for 60 minutes throughout the semester.

This extra support helps you:

• Build confidence in your writing process
• Get regular feedback on class assignments
• Strengthen your skills in research, drafting, revising, and editing
• Prepare for more advanced writing in your major

How it works:
