What We Can Help With

AI Basics

• Learn what generative AI is and how to use it responsibly.
• Practice effective prompting.
• Ask general questions about AI.
• Learn how to evaluate AI-generated responses critically.

Digital Tools

• Get help using Microsoft 365, Copilot, and other common academic technologies.
• Navigate university-supported digital tools.

Explore AI Tools

• Try Pro-level AI tools (such as Claude, Perplexity, and Gamma Pro) for up to 30 minutes (as available).
• Learn the basic features and interface before using them on your own.

AI for Learning

If your instructor allows AI, we can help you:

• Brainstorm ideas and organize your thinking.
• Study, summarize, and review course material.
• Understand your instructor's AI policy.

What We Can't Help With

To support academic integrity and student learning, the AI Lab does not:

• Complete assignments or create work you will submit.
• Decide whether AI use is allowed in your course.
• Grade, edit, or verify the quality of your work.
• Guarantee that AI-generated information is accurate.
• Provide programming, coding, machine learning, or advanced technical support.
• Interpret assignments for your instructor or replace conversations with your faculty member.

• Process sensitive or FERPA-protected information.
