Mentors

Mentors are part of an elite group of industry experts and often serial entrepreneurs who support our students in a rapid business development process. Mentors can be assigned to work with one team for the entire event, or choose to be a roaming mentor and work with many teams.

Mentors help ensure that teams assume nothing. Identify assumptions being made and force them to tackle those assumptions. Mentors share their expertise with student teams to help them develop their venture value proposition, conduct customer discovery, determine market fit, identify appropriate pricing options, create financial statements, and develop a compelling pitch deck.

If you are interested in serving as a mentor, you can sign up to be a mentor or contact our team at startupvikes@csuohio.edu for more information.
