Earn Cleveland State University CEUs

These offerings are non-credit professional development courses. Participants earn Cleveland State University Continuing Education Units, or CEUs, upon successful completion.

CEUs are not academic credit. Cleveland State University does not award undergraduate or graduate credit for these courses, and completion does not result in academic credit that can be applied toward a degree or academic program.

Participants receive documentation of successful completion, including a digital certificate and badge. Cleveland State University also maintains a record of completed courses and can provide a verified non-credit CEU transcript, giving educators formal documentation of the professional learning they have completed through CSU.

Ohio Educator License Renewal

Because renewal requirements and approval practices may vary, educators should consult their school district, Local Professional Development Committee, or the appropriate state licensing authority—preferably before enrolling—to confirm that a selected course will meet their individual renewal, professional-development, or salary-advancement requirements.

We strongly recommend confirming acceptance in advance rather than assuming that CEU transcripts will satisfy your licensure requirements.

Professional Learning That Fits Your Goals

Whether you are responding to an immediate classroom need, developing expertise in a new area, or planning professional learning for license renewal, CSU’s online educator courses provide a convenient way to continue learning while earning CSU-verified CEUs.
